Installation of underground infrastructure is one of the final steps in developing a new community. This process is critical, yet often unseen. In Stage 1 of Morningview on Middleton in the Okanagan Region, shallow utility (electrical, communications and natural gas) installation is nearly complete. As soon as the contractors finish this installation, paving of the roads will commence. Morningview builders are preparing to begin showhome construction and are actively selling in the community.

The City of Spruce Grove City Council unanimously voted in support of an Area Structure Plan (ASP) amendment and rezoning application for our community of Fenwyck. Avillia is excited to build on the success of the first three stages of development. This upcoming stage features a large playground and pathways connecting the environmental reserve to the community and stormwater pond. Single family, duplex and triplex homes will continue to be crafted in this community known for its scenic luxury. Construction is currently underway.

Avillia is excited to share it has received approval from Strathcona County Council on an Area Structure Plan (ASP) amendment and rezoning application for our 26-acre parcel adjacent to Avillia’s Salisbury Village community. Avillia expects to begin its grading program this summer as the next step to bring this next stage of Salisbury Village to market in 2023. The plan for this area includes a large commercial site, single-family homes, fee-simple townhomes, bungalow duplexes, and duplexes with either a front attached garage or rear detached garage. Expansive wetlands and greenspaces complete this community and create connectivity from the existing Salisbury Village development.

Avillia Developments breaks ground on a new 80-acre development in the City of Beaumont. Avillia’s President Patrick Shaver, Avillia’s VP of Development Dustin Berube, MLA Brad Rutherford, and Beaumont’s Mayor Bill Daneliuk all participated in the groundbreaking ceremony. Les Ciels de Beaumont will provide single family homes, duplexes, and executive homes for Beaumont’s young and quickly growing population.

We are pleased to share that the City of Vernon passed the third reading of our proposed development, Port Okanagan. This is a significant milestone in the project’s trajectory. We are excited to work with the City as we continue planning for the development of Port Okanagan. For more on this, please read this article.
